A Moveable Feast THE DESIGN TRUST GALA Tastemakers from the worlds of art, architecture and design gathered at the Kerry Hotel on October 26 for the annual Design Trust Gala. Peter Cook and Dennis Crompton, two members of pioneering architecture collective Archigram, served as the event’s creative directors and transformed the ballroom into a physical incarnation of one of Archigram’s psychedelic, colourful drawings, which have inspired creatives around the world since they were first published in the 1960s. During cocktail hour, guests including Adrian Cheng, Joanna Lui-Hickox and André Fu examined installations on display by local designers Paul Tse, Evelyn Ting, Sarah Lee and Yutaka Yano, who have all received Design Trust grants over the course of their careers.
