The year 2016 has been making depressing headlines. Many are calling it the worst year ever. And that’s true for music fans with the passing of such legendary artists as David Bowie and Prince. More recently, the death of lauded singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen added credence to the dubious honour. Furthermore, according to global climate studies, this year will be the hottest on record. It’s certainly been a strange time for weather here in Hong Kong with the late typhoon last month. And as I write this on an unseasonably humid mid-November morning, the mercury is set to shoot past our monthly average.
