August sees the launch of Moncler’s fall-winter 2020 collaboration with Craig Green, who was inspired by the former’s scientific approach to fashion. The collection features larger-than-life quilts with prints of samurai armour made using micro-rip-stop nylon, a light yet ultra-sturdy fabric. “I wanted to explore building volumes around the body from flat items, from 2D to 3D. For me, Moncler is ultimately about protection and functionality,” says Green.

Made using Econyl, a regenerated nylon yarn produced by Italian company Aquafil, the range, from bum bags to tartan backpacks, uses fibres derived from ocean waste. Go forth and shop guilt-free.
