THE HONG KONG BALLET BALL

The sounds of happy chatter filled the foyer of the Grand Hyatt as the crowd, smartly dressed in black and white, sipped on Perrier-Jouët champagne in anticipation of the entertainment awaiting beyond the ballroom doors. Anne Wang-Liu, Peter Cheung and Victoria Law-Ha were just a few of those looking their monochromatic best for the annual Hong Kong Ballet Ball, which was sponsored by luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre. Once the gathering moved into the ballroom proper, ballet chairwoman Daisy Ho mounted the stage, flanked by co-chairs Mira Yeh and Janice Chan-Choy, to kick off the evening with a welcoming address.
