William Louey’s home doesn’t just have any view—it has the view. His home, on The Peak, has an enviable panorama that encompasses Victoria Harbour, parts of western Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon peninsula. It’s easy to get lost in the views—ships moving in the harbour, cars that look the size of toys driving past the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, pools in five-star hotels glistening in the sun, birds flying by the hills—and then, back in the estate, palm trees in the gardens swaying gently in the cool breeze, something The Peak is famous for. Inside the home, however, is where Louey’s creativity and attention to detail come into full force.
