NOVELTY Ever since the world was divided into 24 time zones at the end of the 19th century, Patek Philippe has been at the forefront of horological innovation, accompanying the rapid growth in transcontinental travel. The 1930s saw the introduction of the maison’s renowned World Time watch, equipped with a date display synchronised with the local time. By the end of the 1950s, the Travel Time system of dual time zones made its debut, marking a significant milestone in Patek Philippe’s history.
