1. Pick a comfy costume.
Few things are cuter than a cat or dog in clothes! However, many pets dislike being dressed up. To make the experience enjoyable for your animal, avoid costumes that constrict the head or neck area. Steer clear of elastic bands that pinch or confine your pet. And never impede your pet’s ability to open its mouth—it needs to be able to pant and breathe freely.
2. Reduce doorbell distress.
The ding-dong of the doorbell is triggering to many dogs. It can incite their guard-dog instincts or excite their social side.
