How does this initiative assist young boys during the course of the year? - We host 2-day leadership workshops for black boys four times a year during school holidays, at the end of every term (Easter, Winter, Spring, and December school holidays). During these workshops, we focus on the following topics: • Academic Prowess and Career Pathing• Preventing the challenges of broken black families• Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle• Addressing the negative and detrimental effects of drugs and alcohol• Discussing HIV and AIDS, teenage parenthood, and pregnancy• Arranging visits to prisons to allow the boys to see the consequences of bad decisions and seek advice from offenders serving jail time• Encouraging entrepreneurship• Instilling the qualities necessary to become a Gentleman of Stature that society can be proud of• Addressing…
