Sighing, I sat down on the sofa and pulled out my phone. It had been a devastating week. My younger brother Andrew had died suddenly, just four days before my birthday and 10 days before his 40th. I’d also recently found out I was pregnant. I’d planned to visit his house to tell him – now it was too late.
