Oh that was lovely. It’s almost three years since Dad died, aged 79, but it still feels like yesterday. I miss him so much every single day. It’s weird that he mentions the tattoo because I had a portrait-style tattoo of Dad done on my left arm while he was dying. He was losing his sight so I went to the hospital to show it to him before it was too late. Dad and I were really close. He had a really dry sense of humour and although he didn’t show emotion very much I always knew how much he loved me. He really suffered towards the end of his life so it’s great to hear he’s happy and pain-free now. Sandrea’s right about him smiling near the end. Dad…
