Spooks ‘R’ Us! Employees of a former Toys ‘R’ Us store in California, reported toys including frisbees floating down the aisles at night, taps in the toilets turning themselves on and off and misty figures on CCTV. One medium said the store was haunted by the spirit of a farm worker called Johnny who bled to death after slicing his leg open with an axe while chopping wood in the 1880s. Haunted hotel Edinburgh’s five-star Scotsman Hotel, which opened in 2001, is housed in the building that had been the offices of newspapers The Scotsman and Edinburgh Evening News since 1904.
