DARK times
It’s the school holidays and I am staying at Grandma’s country cottage. Every night when the lights go out, I feel I’m being watched. In the dark, I can make out a little boy, sitting on top of the wardrobe next to my bed. My grandma sleeps soundly in the next room and I am unable to wake her, no matter how loud I shout. I told her this morning about the boy, and she said his name was George. Grandma told me he always stayed up there so there was nothing to fear. But I just saw his feet hit the floor…
