Sitting in the hall of my dad's apartment, I played with a little toy train. Suddenly, I heard a voice. ‘Denise, my daughter, you are special. You have special gifts,’ it said. But the voice wasn't my dad — so who was it? Soon I found myself having vivid dreams too. One night, I dreamt I was in the school playground on the monkey bars. I swung round… one… two… three… completing a trick I'd been attempting for months. And days later, in the playground, I did the trick for real. It kept happening.
