If you are defending yourself from a hoard, then a drum magazine is the way to gun up. The Warrior System drum magazine offers nice balance, easy loading and complete reliability. Warrior Systems gives the drums a Cerakote finish in either Armor Black, Midnight Bronze, Tungsten Grey or Flat Dark Earth. Sliding the drum in the magazine well of the AR is slick due to the metal-to-metal surfaces. The drum is about the size of a soft-ball, so it is relatively compact. Loading the drum at first can be confusing and require coordination. The fastest way to load it is to place the drum on a flat surface or against your body if in the field.
