Would I want an LWRC International SMG-45 in my truck for protection during encounters with hostile people with no regard for the conventions of civilized society and the rule of law? Yes, I would. It’s a fine partner to a Wilson Combat 1911, but, truth be told, my truck isn’t worthy of either of them. Perhaps no truck is. Even if you call the SMG-45 the “Ultimate Truck Gun,” you’re still selling it short by interplanetary distances. This is the weapon I’d expect to see arming military astronauts in the United States Space Force when boarding a North Korean satellite or embarking on the first manned mission to Mars.
