We were at J-Bay, and alongside the other surfers there were some skaters and some snowboarders, as well as creatives like Ryan Heywood, the photographer, and Wade Carroll, who’s a cinematographer. Being around people who appreciated a different side of surfing and were psyched on the style side of things was really cool.
