Law firm ENSafrica accused of defeating the ends of justice

LAW firm ENSafrica has been accused of defeating the ends of justice following its disagreement to have the case of contempt of court against it heard. This after the North Gauteng High Court struck the matter from the roll, saying it should be heard in the normal course of proceedings. But ENSafrica does not want the court to set a date for the hearing. The matter was brought to the court by Transasia Minerals after ENSafrica’s Senzo Mbatha – who represents Umsobomvu against Transasia on behalf of ENSafrica – allegedly ordered the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) to attend a court hearing and bring confidential documents of Transasia and its directors at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on April 20.
