Viele der Flüchtlinge sind schon zuvor geflohen, vor Fassbomben und Giftgas, aus Aleppo, aus Dar’a, aus dem ganzen Land. Bisher konnte die UN Lebensmittel über die Grenze nach Idlib schaffen. Der UN-Sicherheitsrat wollte dies für ein weiteres Jahr garantieren. Doch dagegen legten Russland und China ihr Veto ein. Auch Hunger ist eine Waffe.
