Mon Mothma

Archetype: Leader Strengths: Wisdom, persuasion, compassion In 1983’s Return of the Jedi, Mon Mothma stood before the soldiers of the Rebel Alliance to prepare them for one of its most important battles, and made an impression on female fans of the original trilogy. Those fans didn’t have a lot of women to look up to in Star Wars, and though she wore white similar to Leia Organa, Mon Mothma was a different type of character. As an ally to Senators Amidala and Bail Organa in the earliest days of resisting Palpatine’s rule, to her brief role in Rogue One, which showed the difficulty of leading an alliance of disparate, volatile rebel factions, we really only learn a little about what drives her.
