Much has changed for Jean-Luc Picard since his last appearance 18 years ago in Star Trek Nemesis – and much has changed too for the man who plays him, Sir Patrick Stewart. Not just the lead in Star Trek: Picard, Stewart is also an executive producer on the show, intimately involved in shaping and guiding the destiny of the character he first played over 30 years ago.
