How I won a R1-million Toyota Fortuner: my GR-Sport Challenge journey

Competing in the 2025 Toyota Fortuner Challenge in the Western Cape’s Overberg Region was an experience unlike anything I've ever had before. I’ve taken part in many events, but the stakes had never been this high – winning a R1-million Toyota Fortuner GR-Sport adds a whole new level of pressure. My daily CrossFit, running and biking prepared me physically, while my engineering background helped with technical tasks such as solving puzzles and using our Garmin watches for navigation. Composure But maintaining composure with such a life-changing prize on the line was the real challenge.
