Anti-Gang Unit scores double victory with murder suspect arrests and drug bust

In a breakthrough, the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) has successfully intercepted two separate incidents of murder, attempted murder, and drug possession in Nigel and Naturena. Acting on vital tip-off information, members of the AGU apprehended the suspects on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with the separate cases. Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, Gauteng provincial police spokesperson, reported that in the early hours of Wednesday, March 12, members of the Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) acted on intelligence to apprehend a wanted suspect connected to a murder and attempted murder case in Nigel. Nevhuhulwi stated that upon arriving at the identified location in Nigel, officers found and arrested a 25-year-old man, who was confirmed as the wanted suspect.
