Royal Mail celebrates legendary rock band AC/DC with a special issue.

The legendary rock band AC/DC is being celebrated by Royal Mail with a set of eight special stamps to mark the 50th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album, High Voltage. Released on18 February, the set captures some of the band’s dynamic live performances over the last 50 years in venues across the world. With over 200 million albums sold worldwide and a legacy of high-energy rock, AC/DC remains a defining force in music, as proven by their Power Up album of 2020 and its namesake tour of 2024. Formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973, AC/DC were led by the twin-guitars of Glasgow-born brothers, Malcolm and Angus Young.
