College baseball fuels passion for game, creates card void in hobby

For baseball fans, March and April are the two greatest months of the year. After a long, cold winter, baseball makes its glorious return when pitchers and catchers report in mid-February. By March, Spring Training games have begun. And Opening Day comes early this year with regular-season games between the Dodgers and Cubs in Japan on March 18-19 and the rest of the league opening on March 27-28. But, for me, baseball season came even earlier this year, officially starting on Feb. 14 with the opening of college baseball season. While most were celebrating Valentine’s Day, I was celebrating the return of college baseball (and, yes, I’m still married).
