Magnet Painting

What You’ll Need: 2 large blocks or thick books newspaper thin cardboard paper tape small metal objects like washers, bolts, or paper clips strong magnet sewing thread tempera paints What to Do: 1. Place newspaper across the blocks and then the cardboard on top, leaving room underneath to move your hands. Tape paper to the cardboard. 2. Tie the metal objects together with different lengths of thread. 3. Dip the metal objects in paint and lay them on the paper. 4. With your hand under the cardboard, move the magnet around. The magnet will “paint” as it moves the metal objects and thread across the paper. You can also spoon paint on the paper and drag the objects through it.
