“WHOA, CHECK THIS out!” Doodlebug Pinkley said to Boggington Bogsworth the Third, his best friend. Hanging from a large leafy plant in the Pinkleys’ backyard garden was a weird, green, tubelike thing. It was a few inches long, thick, and slightly pointy at the bottom. “What is that?” Bog bent forward to study it without getting too close. All at once, the thing wiggled a bit. “Did you see that?” Doodlebug asked. “It’s alive!” “I think it could be some kind of alien species,” Bog decided. “I mean from outer space.” “Yeah,” Doodlebug agreed, “and look, there are two more over there.
