SOCKS AREN’T JUST for feet. Turn them into something neat.

What You' ll Need: What to Do: 1. Rip off a piece of paper towel four sheets long. Crumple it up. Loosely wrap it all around the toilet paper roll. Shape until it is a puffy oval. 2. Put the oval in the sock. Push it all the way into the toe. Then turn it longways. Drop in the ball. Add the cup bottom-side first. Adjust so the ball is sitting on the cup and the oval is sticking out. Tuck the rest of the sock into the cup. 3. Glue eyes on the hippo’s head. Glue beads on the snout. 4. Snip the toe off the other sock. Then cut the toe part in half. On each piece, pinch the cut ends together. Glue the ears on top of…
