“HEY, JAZ!” SETH raced up the porch steps. He plopped down beside his best friend and opened his fist. “It’s Groucho’s!” Jazmin peered at the kitten’s tooth. “Wow! Where did you find it?” “By his favorite catnip toy,” answered Seth. “Are you keeping it for luck?” Jazmin asked. “Nope.” Seth shook his head. “I’m going to put it under my pillow for the Tooth Fairy.” “It’s so tiny,” said Jazmin. “You won’t get much money.” Seth’s fingers closed around the tooth. “I bet I will. I bet the Tooth Fairy never got a cat’s tooth before.” “Groucho’s only a kitten,” said Jazmin. “Is not,” said Seth. “He’s losing his baby teeth.
