CULTURE All school children in the UK have to do PE or ‘physical education’ until they are sixteen. The sports you can play at school vary as each school offers different activities. The most popular school sport is football, which is played by girls and boys. Pupils1 play other traditional team games too, including rugby, field hockey2, netball and rounders, or do individual physical activities like athletics or gymnastics.
