What Is Our NAUI Instruction Worth?

During a NAUI Member Update in southwest Florida, someone initiated an impromptu discussion of the value of our NAUI instruction and training, and an advertised $99 NAUI Scuba Diver class was brought to our attention. This $99 class required the students to buy only their personal mask, fins and snorkel, and it advertised no additional costs for the training and certification. A while after the update, I received a phone call about a NAUI Master Diver course. I quoted the caller $600 plus dives, and I could tell that she was uncomfortable with the price.
