Diving Right Into a Youth Diver Program

Juliana Bach is a 17-year-old student at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology, the only maritime science and technology high school in Miami, Florida. She is the winner of the 2017 Women Divers Hall of Fame Scholarship for Advanced Dive Training – Recreation. Bach chairs the Youth Diver Committee of the Active Divers Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in South Florida supporting scuba awareness among teens through environmental community service. The Marine Academy of Science and Technology (MAST) is the most science-centered high school in all of South Florida. It is located on the Rickenbacker Causeway on Key Biscayne, across from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.
