The Rega Naia is a product-ready version of the conceptual Rega 'Naiad' turntable created by the Southend-on-Sea company primarily as an R&D exercise — an engineering ode to the art of vinyl replay. But the R&D Naiad proved so popular that Rega hand-built a limited series of 50 units, until returning to the original aim — to develop ideas on the conceptual Naiad that could then be incorporated into a new reference-level production turntable. And that's the 'Naia', which the British brand believes will “reach new levels of vinyl replay” from its skeletal plinth of grapheneinfused carbon-fibre, and new titanium tonearm.
