Pro-Ject turns to the Dark Side

Roger Waters has celebrated the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side Of the Moon' by whispering a whole new slo-mo 'Redux' version of the classic album. Pro-Ject has taken a rather more practical approach, releasing a special edition turntable that honours the artwork with a prism-shaped plinth of MDF and a dimmable LED rainbow backlight effect, even a special 'Dark Side' soundwave on the side of the Pro-Ject PickIt cartridge. Beyond the special finishes this is a solid Pro-Ject design with aluminium sub-platter, 10mm glass platter, and 8.6-inch acrylic tonearm with spring antiskating. Given the rainbow lights, Pro-Ject very much recommends listening to your Dark Side turntable in the dark.
