AV SOUND AV RECEIVER OF THE YEAR It’s not often we can congratulate an AV receiver for ease of use — they do so many things these days, and require so much wiring up that AV receivers remain the most complicated Component of any system. Yet the new Cinema range from Marantz does make things as easy as one could hope. At initial set-up, the Cinema 60’s tiny porthole display simply instructed us to “see the TV”, and this largescreen walkthrough then covered everything from wire-stripping to calibration. We reckon even a newbie should make it through, and thereby enjoy the excellent performance of this fully-equipped seven-channel receiver.
