Both the earbuds and the charging case are noticeably smaller than the previous XM4, the buds down by 20-25% in size and weight, less chunky, with better integrated mikes and a less protruding profile (which reduces the effects of wind noise). They're more comfortable and more liveable than the WF-1000XM4, though they rely on four tip sizes and a twist technique for their fit, which we found less secure than some rivals, notably the Boses, with their wings.…
