Since splitting up with Robert, Aaron hasn’t given a thought to romancing other men, the heartache of losing his husband proving too much to bear. Now he’s getting his life back in order, he’s more concerned with teenage half-sister Liv’s life and antics with troublesome new mate Gerry. Naturally, Liv isn’t impressed with her brother’s interference and when she notices a lovelorn Robert hanging around Mill Cottage hoping to see Aaron, she steps in and mischievously suggests that Aaron should start seeing Dr Alex Mason, who was clearly interested in him recently while he treated Liv for a bout of alcohol poisoning.
