Billy Flynn (Chad) Despite announcing back in May 2018 that he’d re-signed his contract to stay with Days, Billy made it public three months later that he was leaving. Reports suggest that he continued shooting scenes as Chad until October, which, given the classic soap’s advanced production schedule, means the character will exit screens in April 2019. Reasons for Billy’s departure aren’t known, nor whether he left by choice or was written out. In recent months he was vocally active on Twitter, arguing with fans about the Chad/Abigail/Gabi storyline and his passionate defence of Chad and Abigail as a couple.
