So, I’ve been reading these Pet Pause features and seeing all the photos of cute dogs and cats. Nice stuff. But I’m jealous. While these people have cute little furry things traveling across America with them, I’m living in a scene straight out of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, The Birds. First, there’s a little guy named Poncho. He’s cuddly and demanding—and he’s not shy about screaming for attention. However, he loves everyone. Except our youngest son, Austin. I don’t know why … my wife Vicki doesn’t know why … Austin doesn’t know why … Poncho doesn’t even know why. He just doesn’t like Austin. Peanut, on the other hand, is cute and cuddly to everyone. Until you do something she doesn’t like. Then she bites you. Then there’s Kiwi. Little ol’ Kiwi. Believe me when I say this…
