It was in the year 1985 that Gospel music fans first began to hear the name Mark Bishop. A year prior, Mark joined his father Kenneth and brother Kenny to record an album for “Granny Bishop,” who wanted to hear her family sing again after she could no longer attend church—and word soon filtered to Nashville recording executives that there was a Kentucky trio that the Southern Gospel music world needed to hear. Harvest Records would go on to release One Way, and that project started the carving of a path that eventually led to the solo ministry of Mark Bishop.
