JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

Back in early October, I was in my hometown Walmart and I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw that the store was already displaying merchandise for Christmas. Summer temperatures were still hanging on and they were trying to get me into the Christmas spirit. Or maybe they were just trying to get into my wallet. In any case, Christmas is upon us now. For me, it’s an opportunity to share special days with my family—I have grandkids, you know. But even more special than family time is the knowledge that this time of year is when we celebrate the most special One of all. Don't worry; I'm not going to preach a sermon here.
