The next time you decide to cycle in the gym, beware. A recent finding by www.fitrated.com showed that an exercise bike had, on average, 362 times more bacteria than a toilet seat. The treadmill has slightly more bacteria than the exercise bike, but there’s less to worry about since the only time your hands come into contact with the machine is when you’re adjusting the speed or incline.
