School is getting really hard. Is there anything I can do to not be so stressed? Steve: Stress stinks. However, it’s also an indicator that you actually care, which is critical to success at anything. My go-to move when I’m feeling overwhelmed is to make a list of things I must do, along with deadlines for each task. Breaking up things into pieces makes everything feel more manageable, and there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of crossing items off that list as you steadily knock them out. Jenny: Lists are great! But if you’re still feeling overwhelmed, don’t be afraid to ask a teacher or parent for help.
