The media has always been a target of dictators and fascists. To suppress a people, you must silence those who inform them. To keep a people in darkness, you must obliterate those who enlighten them. Now that the presidential election is over, those who sought to suppress our votes will no doubt now try to suppress our voices. This is why Black independent Media Matters. On Thursday, December 19, A live ‘Solidarity Symposium’ and launch of my book ‘Media Matters: Tips and Techniques for Getting Media Coverage for Small Businesses, Nonprofit Organizations, Community Organizers and Faith-based Groups.'
