We used to have to check o ur pets into kennels and catteries when taking a local getaway. But there are now more and more rental accommodations that allow you to bring your animal along. On popular platforms, such as Airbnb and LekkeSlaap, you can filter accommodation to only see units that are pet-friendly. It's important to check before you book whether you are allowed to bring your cat or canine and you might be required to pay an additional fee for the privilege.
