Scattered throughout the album of magical memories that my husband, Drew, and I have collected throughout our past year of travel are some photographs that remind us of less pleasant experiences. These are the reminders of our worst travel days since living in our little home on wheels—the photographs that do not make our Instagram feed, and the stories that we do not share with friends and family. Still, we fight the urge to bury them in the deepest valleys of our minds, and we keep them close so we never forget about their origins.
