I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I don't love a dirty fast-food burger from time to time on my travels—quite the opposite. But it's rare that I feel good after eating it—both from a physical perspective (hello, greasy mouth and regret), and from a social perspective (not to get too political, but the worker exploitation, environmental impact and animal cruelty of the fast-food industry don't leave me feeling particularly virtuous).
