ride@ride.co.uk Tunnel vision I enjoyed your Five of the Best Tunnels story in the January issue. I used to use the Blackwall tunnel to commute to work - until I discovered the nearby Woolwich ferry that’s run by Transport for London. It’s free to use and bikes are waved through to filter to the front, so there’s no queuing. With the ferry you don’t get the build-up of rush-hour exhaust fumes you get in the tunnel, but you do get great early morning views of the city.
