Street Twin’s dirtier cousin

TRIUMPH’S BONNEVILLE LINE-UP grows by the month. This time it’s the Street Scrambler, which keeps some of the style and detailing of the long-running Scrambler based on the previous Bonneville, but is a new bike. It shares its 900 engine with the T100, Street Twin and Street Cup, but other major elements are different: longer rear shocks, wider handlebars, 19in front wheel, separate front and rear seats, cleated footpegs, bashplate and unique high-level twin exhaust. As is Triumph’s habit, there’s a vast variety of accessories available. They include different rear shocks from Fox, a headlight grille, a brace for the handlebars, a two-into-one Vance & Hines exhaust, one-piece seat, heated grips, centrestand and crash bars.
