Bimini Bon Boulash, runner-up on series two of BBC Three’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, is known for pushing boundaries. During their time on the much-loved show, which sees 12 of the nation’s drag queens compete to be crowned the UK’s next Drag Race superstar, they strutted down the runway in everything from a Norwich City Football Club leotard with thigh-high boots to a suit covered in red 3D gems that resembled acne. So it’s with huge curiosity that I log on to Zoom for our interview, one question lodged firmly in my mind: what will they be wearing? The look that greets me from Bon Boulash’s East London bedroom is at once casual and striking – a long-sleeved magenta rollneck with diamanté detail and thumbholes in the sleeves, and blonde hair…
