I am writing this on a quiet morning in the Norfolk countryside, sitting at my desk at home, overlooking the garden and the meadow beyond. There is a graceful line of poplar trees, their branches swaying in a gentle breeze, reaching up towards skies, and I well remember seeing the same view two years ago and deciding in an instant that I wanted to move here and change my way of life.
